Farewell Party

By the time i blogged this, it would already be the 2nd day of JW's new life in China. Hopefully he will make it big there, but still would hope that he will return soon. Good Luck Huh!!

We had a enjoyable time during his farewell party last weekend. I know i know!!!I have been complaining that i am busy with lots of projects.. Indeed I was supposed to be working on my school assignment but decided to go attend the party for a short while as he is my very good friend since secondary school.

We sat around at Chevron having our usual "talk cock & photo taking session and when it is time for me to go home to do my assignment, the guys suggested playing bowling at 12 am. Hmmm.... i did not want to disappoint them so went along for the games, I did not regret joining because we had so much fun! Really enjoyed ourselves so much, we all have not had so much fun for a long long time. Most of us are either busy with work or BGR to really gather around for such activities this few years, therefore you could hear from everyone laughter that we do enjoy that moment. I only reached home at 3am, too tired to even touch my assignment, so i went to bed instead... Zzzz...

Boring Projects...

Went to school on SUNday to work on our LM assignment, and we could not finish it by 6pm. Was asked to pack up and leave as they will be closing the campus. Everyone went home to work on it individually and decided to meet up again on Monday, when all of us are feeling happy that we are finally completing it. Something cocked up!!! I open the document from my email attachment directly and it did not prompt us to save to a specific location when we press "CLT-S", so we THOUGHT we saved our work. In the end at 11pm after closing all windows, we realized we do not know where is the file. Searched through all the possible files and folders but we could not find it. Anyone can help me with this?? Everyone start to panic as we have to submit our assignment tomorrow. Already feeling so 'gan chiong' for losing the document which contain all our hard work! The security officer kept coming over to chase us away saying the campus is closed. Arggh... I wanted to ask him to shut up and give us more time but i dare not!! Haha..

So in the end!! everyone went home to RE-DO those that we have did that evening... SO SUPER SIAN!!!

Well... no point crying over spilled milk!! We submitted LM already just now, so now our focus is to work hard on my MR and OT... Endure endure till next Thursday!! Jiayouz!!

Scary Thailand....

I am now looking forward to the end of Thailand's riot... So i can go phuket with a peace of mind in Nov. *Cross finger*

Been nagging my sister to postpone her trip to Bangkok as it is really chaotic now, she is supposed to be flying there on Friday which i am pretty sure that all this rioting would still be in action. In the beginning, she was reluctant to postpone the flight by telling me that they could not get other off days and blah blah reasons until i printed out some articles from Channel NewsAsia. Thanks Vin for those articles, as they convinced her to make the phone call to postpone her flight to a later date. =)

Initially the people at that hotel say that they will not be able to refund as my sis made a last minute cancellation of the room. But after awhile they called back to say, due to a declaration of State emergency the full amount will be refund to them. Cool!! But thinking back, if really no refund were given I would also rather her wasting this few hundred dollars than sacrificing her life over there. I may be over-exaggerating but if your family members are over at Thailand now, will you be worried sick??

So now... Lets hope the riots end soon so she can go for her Bangkok trip & i go for my phuket trip in peace!! =)
