Belated Post

I have been feeling so sick & nua these days thus lazy to blog, got a throat infection leading to bad flu, bad headache & fever.

Last sunday which was Mid-Autumn Festival was a day of many happy occasions!! Not 1..2..3 but 4 of them!!

1st - It's Mid Autumn Festival... Duh!
2nd - It's my Beloved Ah Ma's Birthday
3rd - It is Pig & Mine 7th year 2nd months Anniversary! <3
4th - It is Pig's last exam paper.... He graduated already!!

So many happy occasions right???

It is not a coincidence that my Ah Ma's birthday falls on this year Mid Autumn festival, in fact she celebrated her birthday on every Lunar 8月15日 because she do not know the exact date she was born. All she can remembered is she was told by my great-grandmother that she was born on 8月15日. During her time they do not register their birth immdiately unlike now it is a must to do so within 2 weeks. My great-grandmother forgot my Ah Ma's actual birthdate therefore only register it as ' - Aug 1945 '. So from then on my Ah Ma celebrated her birthday on every Mid-Autumn Festival !! Double Celebrations every year!!

Due to my very hectic schedule i actually forgot that i should make an advance booking at the restaurant. I THOUGHT i could easily get a table but i forgot that day happened to be Mid-Autumn festival where many families would dine out at restaurants. On that Sunday morning, i began calling up a few chinese restaurants but none of them have any available tables for that evening! *Stress!!* I began to panic as my Ah Ma is quite choosy when it comes to food! She do not like western food so that is out, my siblings thought that having Japanese food is out too! They all think that Having Chinese food is deemed more appropriate....

So having no choices, i called up a few more to enquire. Haiz!!! All fully booked! While on my way to fetch my Ah Ma & Sister, Pig & i drove to Hilltop restaurant opposite West Mall. I was hoping & praying that we might be able to get a table there. Upon reaching the restaurant, i was greeted by a big group of people. My secondary school mates!! They were there to attend Xiao Shan's wedding lunch! So QIAO!! Even though we were not from the same class back in Yuhua, but a few of them were my Netball friends. I am really very happy to see them!! =) Oh yah!! In the end, i did not managed to get any table there either.

Finally, we decided to just dine at the coffee shop near my Ah Ma's place having Seafood. It only cost $198 for 13 of us! Cheap & yummy!! Luckily my Ah Ma did not complained! Hehee

After that we went K Box!! YES!! My grandparents, uncles and aunties were so 'ONz' when i asked if they want to join us for some KTV.... Hehe.... We had so much fun hearing my grandparents sing, my mischevious Ah Gong held my Ah Ma's hand while he sing and look into her eyes making her blush and scolding him!!

Ah Gong: Giggles and continue singing!!


Hahahaha.... We could not stand them but was really happy to see them behaving so lovely after so many years. My Ah Ma had so much fun and she is very pleased with what we got for her present. A gold bracelet ! She keep 'hao lian-ing' to everyone asking whether is it beautiful! I am so happy to see her so happy because I love her!!

I simply love 溏心风暴之家好月圆.... It is really really really a good show! It is a torture when the show ends all of a sudden and you do not get to carry on watching because the next episode is not out for rental yet!! Si have to wait for days before it is my turn to watch it!

Some brief introduction of the casts:

Mi Xue (Auntie Li/Ah Hong)- starred as Li Si Qi's younger sis in the previous sequel but now she is her love rival who stole her husband and broke up her family. She is really an excellent actress. One moment she is the good & kind-hearted auntie, the other moment she is the most vicious woman on earth .

Li Si Qi (Da Gan/Mother Hao)- is still the same, full of advise who earned respects from everyone except her rival. The only difference is that she is not as wealthy as in the first sequel and her husband divorced her to be with another woman.

Xia Yu (Da Bao/Papa Cho)- Very wealthy & have more than one wife! Same in both sequel.. Except that he enjoys the company of 2 wives in the first sequel whereas in the second he divorce one to be with another.

Chen Hao (Hai Ke Yi/Ah Ka)- The big brother of the family in both sequel. He secretly love & cared for a woman for years in the first sequel. Whereas in the second sequel, 2 woman fought to be with him.

Zhong Jia Xin (Tang Zai Xin/Yu Zheng Qiu)- She is always involved in complicated relationships. In the first one, her bf got together with her best friend behind her back and when she was ready to forgive him, he got killed in an accident. Chen Hao is secretly in love with her for years but she only got feelings for Alfred. They only got together in the last episode.In the second sequel, she fell in love with a Doctor who already has a gf. Similarly there is this guy who is secretly in love with her too! Both story leave us to go guess who she will end up with eventually.

Many many others interesting characters in that show, but i am too tired and lazy to type all.
In conclusion, this is a highly recommended show! Guess TVB should pay me advertising fees as i am massively promoting this drama. Hahaha

Guess the medicine i took is starting to take effect, I am feeling so drowsy now, already seeing double images on my screen! =P
