Hong Kong Trip....

Back home after a 6days 5nights trip to Hong Kong... Miss the cool weather cos Singapore is so hot and humid. I guess i have gained some weight due to the non stop eating these few days =)

Day 1:

Due to some stupid mistakes i made half a year ago while making the booking, we wasted our first day cos we only reached HK at 9pm. By the time we checked in, we head out to for our very late dinner then went back to the hotel to sleep cos it is already too late to shop around by then.

While waiting to check in our baggage

Metropark Hotel - 1 min walk from 太子MTR station

Day 2:

Day tour to various tourist attractions....

One of the famous Harbor in HK

Taking the cable car ride up to Ngong Ping 360

All the architecture displayed a strong China style, a very beautiful place with breath taking view =)

The super enormous Buddha statue sitting at the top of this super duper long flight of stairs, we didn't attempt to climb up cos the 3 elderly claimed that they wouldn't be able to take it =X

Went to their 女人街 for some shopping and went back empty handed cos we didn't had enough time to shop as it was already quite late when we reached. =(

Day 3:

We went to another of their attraction - Ocean Park

Had our lunch at this cafe overseeing the very very beautiful view. Love the atmosphere but not the food and the price. That meal cost us SGD$ 120 =(

Visited their 'underwater world' and is amazed at how interesting it is, never know that there are actually so many kind of different fishes in there.

The highlight of the visit to the Ocean Park is the dolphins show at the Ocean Theater, i felt like a kid once again. All excited when i saw the dolphins in their corners getting ready for performance. =P The show is awesome, but i had mixed feelings while watching them doing their stunts. I am happy and excited cos they are superb and very cute, on the other hand i am sad when i guess that they must have been starve so badly and will only be fed after each performance.

The scary rides

Was already feeling quite tired after the show cos of all the walking, the 3 elderly looked shagged too so we head to a 茶粲厅 for some drinks while hubby went to take some scary rides.Feeling bored while waiting for them, began cam whoring and trying out the camera different functions =P

Below are some random shots....

Exhausted Grandpa

After dinner, we went back to 女人街 again hoping to buy something cos up till the 3rd day we haven't bought a single items lor. Not much 收获cos it started to drizzle soon after we reached and most of the stalls start packing up. Sianzzzz....

Day 4:

Macau ... Alighted at Tsim Sha Tsui Station which is nearest to the ferry terminal, was delighted to find many shops selling branded bags. Quickly hop in to a few to check it out, was tempted to get something but at the same time was worried that they might not be authentic.

Checking for direction to the terminal

Off to Macau... was shocked to learn that all the shops there closed at 5pm. It was almost like a dead town by 6pm except for their casinos. There are 33 of them there lor, n as we gotta rush for the last ferry by 10.30pm we only spent 3 hrs in one of the casino. We went to Sands which happened to be the nearest one to the ferry terminal. Not a good experience cos we 'donated' money to the casino.. hahaaa...

Not very fluent with Cantonese can get us into trouble (Almost!!). I asked for direction: "Zhou Meh Che hui China Ferry Terminal (name of the ferry terminal)?" Guessed the auntie only heard "CHINA" and pointed bus lane 3. Luckily i double check with the driver and realized that bus is heading to China and not to the ferry terminal lor!! Heng !!! else i dunno how are we gonna get back to MongKok from there.

Day 5:

Random shopping at some malls and visit to Madam Tussaud's Museum, was so happy and excited to see my idol (Aaron Kwok) =D

Love him =)

Andy Lau =)

My grandpa with Mr Lee Kuan Yew

I look like a dwarf beside Yao Ming

The lady beside James Bond.. =P

View from the peak

Was reluctant to go to Temple Street for some shopping as we are afraid that we might be disappointed again. However, we were so wrong... We all love it so much, gotten most of our stuff from the stalls there. =) Love the foot massage there too, superb skills and i enjoyed watching the HK drama while massaging. The newly aired 谈情说案!! gonna go JB and get it soon.. hahhaa

Day 6:

Went to a 麻将馆near our hotel to pass time as we were all too tired to walk around anymore! It is really interesting to find so many of this kind of shops in Hong Kong, people would go in there and play with different people. We got a private room and soon enough we head to the airport and Home sweet home! =)

Overall, it was a very fun trip but as all expenses were on hubby and i, we spent quite a bomb excluding my losing in the casino. Total damage is enough for hubby and i to pay for our Europe tickets. =( Gotta chew on bread for sometime liao.. hahaa =X

Some random stuff to share... When we were checking out, my grandma told me something scary. She claimed that she wore the hotel slippers and remembered putting them beside her bed before she went to sleep. But when she was awake she couldn't find one side of the slippers, my grandparents searched the whole room for it and it was no where to be found. We have no idea where the slipper disappear and she is glad that it only happened during our last night there. =X

Finally finally finally.....

After 2.5 long years, i am finally done with schooling. Phew!! now i can only 求神拜佛 to let me clear this 2 papers and get out of school...

It is time to concentrate on planning for my wedding already. However gonna enjoy myself to the max first at Hong Kong in 2 weeks time. This trip is gonna be different and challenging cos i am traveling along with my grandparents and my mother-in-law. I have gotta plan itinerary which is suitable for them and also not to miss out on my shopping sessions. =P

While i am still lamenting that i will have to spend a lot for this trip cos those elderly expenses will be on Hubby n me, an angel came along and blessed us! Bro strike 4d and kindly sponsored my grandparents tickets and accommodations! =) Then another angel came by bless me while i am at Marina Bay Sands Casino... woohooo.... Now our HK trip is totally free with extra $ for shopping!!!! *hop around the house happily*
