Hachiko.......

Was supposed to go watch Avatar at Cine but I mistakenly read AMK Hub timing instead of Cine one instead. Once again, we didn't get to watch Avatar (no fate)... Thus we decided to watch Hachiko-a dog's story. Heard that this show was based on a true story.

Cute lil Hachi with Richard Gere

Gotten this from Yahoo Movie:

"This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love."

It certainly did touched my heart cos i was tearing uncontrollably in the cinema. It is a must watch show for dogs lover. I began thinking of those moments when my Bebe sit at the door to wait for my return, she would wagged her tail and hop around happily when she saw me. Or turn around in circles happily when she heard my maid's phone rings knowing that i would call when it is time for me to pick her up from my dad's place. Those were the little act by her which made me feel very very happy n loved by her. =)

We are gonna attend.........

S.H.E is the One World Tour Concert !!!!!!

"Showcased for the first time ever in Singapore, a floating pod will house members of the live band, who will be playing in mid-air throughout the concert! The stage will be presented using many LED screens and arcs, deviating from the norm. Expect multiple costume changes and exciting dance routines from S.H.E., and also watch them transform into Broadway performers for one of the segments!"

I am so.... looking forward to it! :)

Loving it.....

I just came back from our drive up to Genting using my Madza. Thankfully she didn't disappoint me and managed to survive the 4.5 hrs non stop driving =P It was 1.5 hr faster than our previous drive up so i was really wondering how fast was he travelling at when i fell asleep! he told me 150-180km/hr but i doubt so.....*ponders*

It was another kind of experience driving up on our own as we do not have anyone to lead us there except for my not very trustworthy GPS. Hahaha... Met up with Albert & Eunice and headed to the casino almost immediately, luck was pretty good during our first day but not the rest of the other 2 days.

We did not spent our entire time stuck in the casino this time round, we did go to their KTV 'Be A Star' and also went clubbing at Safari Disco. 4 of us finished up a bottle in 3 hours and crazily head back to the casino for more games. =S It was a night of fun and laughter but luck wasn't with us thou.

Our Group Pic @ Safari Disco

They were all happily smoking away cos they do not get a chance to do that in clubs in Sg now.

Introducing the crazy card games that made everyone drink an average of 3 glasses per game

Penalty when other party hit the bull-eye = 1 Glass/ Hit

Applied for their Silver card so as to go into their 'International Room', it was rather exciting to watch people gambling with high stakes. Happy to find Texas Hold em' Poker there and watch a few games, hubby sneaked back to play it while i was watching another table. Luckily he managed to win 2 good hands. =) But money wasn't that appealing so i pulled him away and RAN all the way back to First World for massage.

Now that driving up seems so easy and convenient, we were all looking forward to going up more often! heee....

Fun January....

Have been accompanying my best friend around to shop for wedding gowns, wedding shoes, wedding bands, diamonds and even did manicures & pedicures with her. I can totally understand the kind of excitement that she is experiencing now, cos i have been there and done that for my ROM. Nevertheless, i am still very excited about my upcoming customary wedding. =)

Learn a lot of stuff from it as i tagged along, also to realize that i have been 'tock' big time... The wedding package that i have bought back in 2006 is way too 'bo hua', they are only giving me 18 photos/poses which in fact i would need at least 30-35 photos so that the album would look complete and nice. Meaning to say, till then they would 'tock' me another time by asking me to add photos at $75-$150 each. You do the maths..... Grrrrrr

Not mentioning alot of miscellaneous items which are mostly needed to make the album nice required money too. TMD!!!!! We were too stupid and anxious to have bought the over-priced package!

Not only have i been 'tock', i also heard that the bridal studio that i have gotten my package from do not really have much pretty gowns to choose from. Haiz... n that is really demoralizing cos which bride do not wanna look pretty on their wedding day?

After much discussion with hubby, we went to the wedding show at Vivo and decided on a Plan B. Hehehe... =)
